Where are they located?
Penland Christmas Tree Farm in York, SC
What is the investment?
The investment is $150 total, it’s a $75 deposit to book then the rest ($75) is due the week before the session date booked.
How long are the sessions?
These are 10 minute sessions.
Is this just for kids or can we do family photos too?
No, this is not just for kids. You are absolutely welcome to do family photos.
Can we take some without Santa?
Yes, I actually do those first. This way any little ones can get more comfortable with meeting Santa.
What is the set up?
Our set will be placed in real beautiful Christmas trees. We will have a white love seat surround by a wooden vintage sled with real ice skates hanging off it, a red lantern, small green garland wreaths, stained crates and vintage wrapped presents. This is a little different than last year. I also provide a book to look at with Santa and a teddy bear to cuddle for the little ones.
How many people are able to come to one session spot/time or when do you recommend additional spots and if we are to book additional session spot times can we receive a discount?
I no longer directly recommend if you need additional spots/times or not with mini sessions. This is because sometimes I can get more done in the one session time than thought IF everyone corporates. I see it as you have however long is listed/booked. If you only book one session spot time then when your time is completed then it’s completed. I will work as hard as I can to get all the pictures I can but when the time is up it’s up and will not be held accountable for the spot/time amount booked.I do however recommend that each family unit ,if more than one, pays for a separate session time to give everyone plenty of time that they would like to have for me to capture your story. I do not recommend one session time for extended/generational family units. If you feel like your child/children need additional time for whatever the reason is than provided in one session spot/time then I do recommend booking additional spots. No discounts are given for multiple session spots/times booked by the same family unit(s).
Do you provide an outfit guide to help us pick out our outfits?
Yes, I sure do! I send over a guide with different color combinations or inspirations of what to wear. I also offer advice on what not to wear too. This is sent about a month in advance.
What is your turnaround time and how many images do I receive?
The turnaround time for these is one week. I am not sending sneak peeks this year with minis to get them done faster. You will receive 15 to 20 images maybe a little more.
How are our memories delivered?
Through an online gallery on your email. You’ll receive print release, what’s next and how to download video a day after your session date to have through email.
