Frequently asked questions or FAQs. These are the questions that come up most in your business that people want to know or you get asked a ton. My FAQs are listed on my website and in each of my experience guides. Having these ready to go can help clients when choosing you to capture their story. Make sure these are updated frequently if any changes are made in your business to make for the best client experience or you feel you’ve been getting a question very often that needs to be added. Here are some of my frequently asked questions and my answers for my business below. 



Where are you based?


I am based in Kings Mountain, NC. 


Photographers: Please include this. It will help to let clients know where you are able to service with ease. You can even add that you are able to travel to xyz or that you're available for worldwide travel if this applies. Put whatever you want but absolutely include this.


What do I specialize in?


I am a family & maternity photographer. I also offer services for lifestyle newborn, couples, engagement, weddings, senior/college grads, portraits and milestones.


What is your editing style?


I am a vibrant true to color photographer.


How do I pose?


I love both posed portraits and candid moments. I capture both for your story. Details are also captured from your sweet baby bump to your little ones every changing features to have frozen in time forever.


Do you send black and white images?


Absolutely! I send both color and black and white images with every story captured. The only sessions that do not receive black and white images are minis unless posted otherwise.


Do you bring props?


For my regular sessions, I bring neutral props depending on the type of story being captured. I have a neutral blanket, a Moses basket and small kids/toddler stools and chairs. As of right now, I do not provide props for 1st birthday sessions. All mini sessions will have set props provided for that mini session only.


How do I book my story?


To book your story, you can email me at carlystevensphotography@gmail.com. You can also use any contact button on any page that will take you straight to my contact page to get booking. It goes straight to my email so we can get started on capturing your story!


How far in advance should I book my session?


At least a month in advance or more depending on the season. That way we can get all the amazing details together to capture your story.


How many images will I receive?


Image amounts will be listed with each package offered for regular or mini sessions. Weddings receive all deliverable images from your very special day.


What is your turnaround time?


Currently my turnaround time is 3 to 4 weeks for regular sessions. This could go down or up depending on the volume of sessions. Weddings are 6 to 8 weeks.


Will I receive sneak peeks?


For regular sessions, absolutely! You will receive between 2 to 5 images from your session within 48 hours through email. For mini sessions, you will not receive sneak peeks. Weddings receive 20 to 40 sneak peeks within 72 hours.


How is my story delivered?


I delivery all my stories captured through an online gallery. After full album delivery, you receive my print release and a video on how to download your story.


Do you offer prints?


Not as of right now but I plan on adding that service in the near future.
